Vintage jet black glass cabochon and antique gold tone beautiful moulded Buddha design cuff bracelet. Each large circular panel is really finely crafted, showing a filigree setting with black glass pieces. The black glass pieces alternate between curved cabochons and stunning moulded / poured glass Buddha shapes. The two plain curved cabochons have tiny traces of what looks like gold writing across them. These traces are not very visible, but I am intrigued as to what they once looked like. The panels are linked together to form a wide panel bracelet with lovely detailing.

Having seen a similar pair of earrings that are signed by Joseff of Hollywood, I am now wondering if this is an unsigned Joseff piece. The circular plaques on the reverse of each panel are precisely the same as those with the Joseff of Hollywood script signature in signed pieces. The Selro company produced bracelets with a similar feel in the 1950s and 60s, but I have read that they never produced a Buddha design and the fixings are very different. The bracelet has a length of 7 inches and fastens with a secure spring ring clasp. It is in very good vintage condition.
